Theresa Lingenfelter
Teacher & Owner

“With over 15 years of teaching experience, it is my responsibility and pleasure to make sure that we maintain a safe and engaging environment for learning. I've personally selected our educational materials and toys, and whatever I did not buy I made by hand.”

“I have been working in the field of education since 2016. My roles range from teacher assistant/aid to substitute teacher to lead teacher to center director. I have worked with children from birth to fifth grade. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management and an M.Ed. (Master of Education in Elementary Education). Working with children is my calling in life!”

Teacher & Director

"Working with children has been a lifelong passion of mine. I have two years of professional childcare experience, as well as having passed a college-level child psychology and development course. It is a deeply held belief of mine that all children should be respected and listened to, and that the basic lessons in regulation and problem solving they learn as preschoolers will set the tone in how they interact with the
world well into their adulthood."

"I'm passionate about fostering environments where children can thrive, grow, and be embraced as unique individuals. Through my work at Big Brothers Big Sisters, The Boys and Girls Club of North Kitsap, and Liberty Bay Preschool, I've learned how joyful and inspirational it is to work with children. Each day I show up to work, children astound me with their creativity, kindness, and inherent interest in the world around them. In addition to academics, I'm dedicated to teaching kindness, emotional regulation, and confidence in one's self and abilities. These tools will help children be successful today and in their bright futures. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in English with Honors from the University of California Santa Barbara and a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate for Counseling and Psychology Professions.."

Aaryn Cullum
Teacher's Aid

I’ve spent years working with younger children, all dating back to a student volunteer position with my own brother’s preschool. As years progressed, it became more; from taking family education courses, to teaching children’s’ art classes, to additional volunteer positions of all sorts. I was finally able to pursue my dream professionally within the last year, taking up the assistant role in classes I have wished for since I was a student myself. I want to do nothing more than help all children thrive and find their voices, building a creativity and confidence that will last a lifetime.
