Meet the teachers

Theresa Lingenfelter
Teacher & Owner

“With over 15 years of teaching experience, it is my responsibility and pleasure to make sure that we maintain a safe and engaging environment for learning. I've personally selected our educational materials and toys, and whatever I did not buy I made by hand.”

“I'm originally from Wisconsin where I received my BA majoring in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Adaptive Education from Wisconsin Lutheran College. My first year in Washington I taught Pre-K, Kindergarten, and K-8th PE. I love going on adventures, being outside, and playing video games with my husband and our dog Luci.”

I’ve spent years working with younger children, all dating back to a student volunteer position with my own brother’s preschool. As years progressed, it became more; from taking family education courses, to teaching children’s’ art classes, to additional volunteer positions of all sorts. I was finally able to pursue my dream professionally within the last year, taking up the assistant role in classes I have wished for since I was a student myself. I want to do nothing more than help all children thrive and find their voices, building a creativity and confidence that will last a lifetime.
